Our Approach
At Moving Mountains Village, we’re here for the people who walk alongside a child every day, the ones who encourage, support and show up through it all.
As a neurodiverse affirming clinic, we work in partnership with families, educators and caregivers, offering support that’s grounded in compassion, respect and practical strategies. We believe every child deserves to be celebrated, valued, and supported. Through connection, play and support, we help children thrive, while equipping the adults around them with the tools and confidence to do the same. We are your village, here to support your journey, one meaningful step at a time.
How we Support your child
Daily Life
At Moving Mountains Village, we support children and young people aged 0–18 to participate fully in the everyday moments that matter most; playing, learning, building friendships, exploring new foods, managing big feelings, and developing independence in daily routines.
Everyday challenges
We understand that when a child finds something tricky, like getting dressed, joining in at school, or staying calm in busy spaces, it can affect a child’s confidence and wellbeing. That’s where we come in.
Therapy that fits
Our team offers support through occupational therapy, behaviour support, and feeding therapy. We focus on what’s meaningful to your child and your family. Using a strengths-based and neurodiverse-affirming approach, we build skills in ways that feel safe, playful, and achievable.
Connected support
We believe children do best when the people around them are working together. That’s why we collaborate closely with parents, teachers, educators, and other professionals involved in your child’s care. Together, we create consistent support across the places your child learns, lives, and plays, so they can feel understood, confident, and supported every step of the way.

We partner with families to create a personalised, strength-based treatment plan that reflects the
child’s goals and preferences.

We provide affirming support that builds on the child’s natural abilities, promoting confidence, independence, and self-advocacy.
Case meeting & collaboration with key stakeholders
We work with families, educators, and other key supports to ensure consistent and holistic support across all environments.

We reassess the child's progress, celebrate achievements, and tailor goals as needed to support their ongoing development.
