Circle of Security Parenting™ Groups

Parenting can feel deeply rewarding and at really difficult in understanding what our child might need from us.
Circle of Security Parenting (COS) is a research informed program gthat supports parents to strengthen their bond with their child and feel more confident in their responses.

Through this program, parents gain practical tools to help children feel safe and secure, build confidence and self esteem and develop healthy relationships both within the family and beyond. At Moving Mountains Village, our COS groups offer a calm, supportive space to reflect, learn and grow.

What is Circle of Security Parenting?

Circle of Security Parenting is a relationship based parenting program that helps parents understand what children need to feel safe, supported and confident as they grow.

Using a simple, visual framework, COS helps parents:

  • Make sense of behaviour as communication

  • Understand their child’s emotional needs at different moments

  • Respond with greater confidence and clarity

  • Strengthen connection during everyday interactions

  • Repair and reconnect after challenging moments

The focus isn’t on fixing behaviour, it’s about strengthening the relationship underneath it.
